Coupon Cards
Privacy Policy
Last updated October 13, 2026
This policy explains what Coupon Cards collects when a publisher opens an account, a business submits an offer, or a patron buys a card, and how that information is used.
Who this policy covers
Coupon Cards is a software service for publishing digital coupon cards. It is used by three groups: publishers who pay for an account and manage cards, businesses that submit offers to a publisher, and patrons who buy or receive a card and redeem an offer.
Questions about this policy can be sent to support@tnvcreations.com.
Information we collect
Publisher accounts
When you create a publisher account we store:
- Your name and email address
- A password, stored only as a cryptographic hash
- Your role, account status, and a unique submission code businesses can use to apply
- Subscription status, plan limits, and billing period dates
- Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, plus a payment history tied to those charges
- An optional Stripe Connect account identifier if payouts are connected
If you add your own mail server in settings, we store the host, port, username, from name, from address, and an encrypted mailbox password so submission notices can be sent from your address.
Business submissions
When a business applies to a publisher we store:
- Optional first name, business name, email address, description, and the offer text
- A redemption password, stored only as a cryptographic hash
- Review status, the publisher the application belongs to, and the card it is placed on after approval
The redemption password is checked when an offer is verified. It is not included in notification emails.
Patron cards
When a card is purchased we store:
- The patron name and email address collected at checkout
- A unique card code and the Stripe payment identifier for that purchase
- Which offers on that card have been redeemed, when they were redeemed, and the QR code used for that offer
Technical data
Sign-in uses an essential session cookie so the application knows you are logged in. Our host and payment providers also receive the IP address and browser data that come with an ordinary web request. We do not run a separate advertising tracker on the public site.
How we use information
- To create and secure accounts, and to show the right dashboard for your role
- To bill subscriptions and patron card purchases, and to restore access after a failed payment is resolved
- To deliver submission notices, purchase confirmations, and account emails
- To show approved offers on a public card and to mark an offer used after a valid redemption
- To investigate abuse, fraud, or a security problem
- To keep the service operating, including backups and error logs
We do not sell personal information.
Who receives information
Information is shared only as needed to run the service:
- Stripe processes subscription and card payments. Stripe's own privacy policy applies to the payment data it collects at checkout.
- The application database is hosted on Neon Postgres. The site is hosted on Vercel.
- Subscription and purchase email is sent through Resend.
- Business-submission email is sent through the mailbox the publisher configures. That message goes to the publisher and a confirmation can go to the business.
- A publisher can see the businesses, offers, and card sales on their own account. A business does not receive other businesses' account data.
- We may disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect the service, its users, or the public from harm.
Cookies
The session cookie is required to keep you signed in. It is not used to build an advertising profile. If you block it, sign-in will not stay active. Checkout may also set cookies that Stripe needs to complete a payment.
How long we keep it
Account, subscription, business, and card records are kept while the account is active and for as long as we need them to provide the service, resolve a dispute, meet a tax or accounting duty, or enforce these terms. Payment records may be kept after an account is closed because charges have to remain traceable. You can ask us to delete an account that is no longer needed, and we will remove or de-identify personal information that we are not required to retain.
Security
Passwords are hashed. Publisher mailbox passwords are encrypted before they are stored. Access to production systems is limited to operating the service. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we cannot promise that unauthorized access will never happen.
Your choices
You may email support@tnvcreations.com to:
- Ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you
- Correct a name or email address
- Ask us to delete your publisher account, a business submission, or a patron card record, subject to records we must keep
- Object to a use that is not required to deliver the service you asked for
A publisher can update their own name and mailbox settings in the dashboard. Closing a subscription does not by itself erase historical payment records.
Children
Coupon Cards is a business service. It is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us personal information, email us and we will delete it.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that materially affects how we use personal information, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after that date means you have the updated policy available to you. If a change requires a new consent, we will ask for it.
